Domestic DEMFLOOD™ System
Although BAUER in the UK are widely-known for their engineered, demountable community flood defence systems, until now a system for domestic properties had not been available from us. As government policy increasingly moves away from flood defence and more towards sustainable options, so many more property owners will be at risk from flooding and need to consider self-help.

The new BAUER-IBS Domestic System has now been launched to provide this additional option for property owners who do not have the benefit of being protected by community defences. Based on the tried-and-tested DEMFLOOD™ System, the BAUER-IBS Domestic System provides the highest level of security to doors windows and openings, and can be installed rapidly in advance of an anticipated flood event with no specialist knowledge or tools. Constructed from high-grade aluminium alloy, the System is extremely robust and has a design life of at least 50 years. Ordering is now made easy by on-line forms, but assistance is always available from our technical services team.

K-System
The K-System is a completely new and fully-mobile temporary flood defence concept, aimed at both the domestic and community defence sectors. This lightweight aluminium System achieves the benefits of reduced capital cost, rapid deployment prior to a flood event, and a ‘flat-pack’ design concept that improves on alternative temporary flood defence provision when it comes to removal from site and storing. Additional and messy covering membranes are not required with the K-System design, further reducing installation time and storage space requirements.
